Data Protection

We store and process your information on computers and in any other way. By “your information” we mean personal information we (a) obtain direct from you, or (b) learn from the way you use our Website and mailing lists, from the messages you post and reply to, and any direct correspondence with our co-ordinators. We will use your information to manage your mailings, and to develop and improve our services to you.

We will not disclose any such information outside of The Prince’s Drawing School except as required by law or regulation. Otherwise we will keep information about you confidential.

UK Data Protection Act

Course participant data is held for two purposes: to facilitate the distribution of our publications which contain information about the school and about future courses that you may want to attend.

All records are held on computer. To comply with the UK Data Protection Act 1998 it is incumbent on us to enquire whether there is any objection to our maintaining this information. Should any course participant have an objection to this, or query as to its purpose, you can contact us by:

• completing our privacy information form

We will provide you with a readable copy of the personal data which we keep about you within a fortnight, although we may before require proof of your identity. We currently provide this information without any charge.

We allow you to challenge the data that we hold about you and, where appropriate, you may have the data:

• erased; or
• rectified and/or amended.
