This course will introduce and
develop intaglio techniques with
an emphasis on etching (hard and
soft ground, aquatint, sugar lift,
white ground) as well as
demonstrations of other less
conventional methods. Individual
guidance will be given to each
student throughout the course
and is suitable for both beginners
and the more advanced
printmaker. Please bring a
sketchbook, pencils, pens and
brushes. Students are encouraged
to bring their drawings to work
from.
