Discover more about paintings and their history through the National Gallery collection. Through drawing students will explore different aspects of the collection from the artists of late medieval and Renaissance Italy to the French Impressionists. Students are encouraged to extend the work that is made in the gallery to their own independent practice.

— Dry drawing materials, a drawing board and an optional stool. Charcoal is frowned upon by the keepers so pencils would be best, bring at least three degrees of hardness; i.e. B, 5B & 7B, including HB pencils.
