The study of human anatomy is imperative to drawing - it helps us understand the structure of the human form. George Donald, who trained at both Edinburgh College of Art and Hornsey College of Art in London, is a distinguished practicing artist based in Scotland. He has taught drawing and anatomy throughout the world - at Edinburgh College of Art, Ecole Superieure des Arts Decoratifs (Strasbourg), Saga University of Arts (Kyoto) and with the British Council in the Far East. Throughout his career he has been passionately interested in the study of anatomy and is considered a leading proponent of and authority on the subject. This will be a comprehensive course on human anatomy covering the muscular and skeletal systems of the body. The torso, eyes, limbs, hands and feet will be covered in detail. This course involves working from live models and skeletons.
