Catherine Goodman
Artistic Director

Catherine Goodman studied at Camberwell School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools. She helped establish The Prince’s Drawing School in 2000 where she is currently Director. She has shown her work across the UK and was awarded the BP portrait first prize in 2002 for her portrait of Dame Cicely Saunders, which was reproduced as a Royal Mail stamp in 2006. She is represented by Marlborough Fine Arts and currently lives and paints in London.

Teresa Albor
Chief Executive

Teresa has worked at the director level in both the non-profit and private sector. She recently returned to London from a three-year assignment in Macedonia where she served as the Director of Communications for a government development agency, and before that was Managing Director of London-based Absolute Return for Kids (ARK). Teresa has a Masters Degree from the University of the Philippines and an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Clara Drummond
Postgraduate Programme Manager

Clara is responsible for the Drawing Year postgraduate programme, working part-time from Tuesday to Thursday. As a former Drawing Year student her role is to be the first point of contact for students, to provide support and advice as well as to co-ordinate projects and visits that enhance the students year of study. Clara is a practising artist who recently participated in the 2006 BP Portrait Award. She has also recently curated and exhibited in an exhibition at Eleven gallery.

Rosie Thwaites
Drawing Club/Project Manager

Rosie is developing the Drawing School’s Outreach Programme, After-school Drawing Clubs, taught in community or school settings. Established in October 2006 the Drawing Clubs are taught by postgraduate alumni from the Drawing School; so far four permanent clubs have been set up across London with the aim of extending the programme to reach more children. Rosie manages the programme, liaising with Schools, teachers and alumni to ensure a high-quality of teaching is maintained. Rosie studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, before going on to train as an Art Teacher, and teaching in schools for four years. She co-ordinated the community arts programme at a Visual Arts Specialist School, before moving to The Drawing School.

Henry Gibbons-Guy
Drawing Club Lead Tutor

Henry is an alumnus from the Drawing School’s postgraduate programme, having been Print Room Technician for two years, he has now taken up a position as Lead Tutor for Drawing Clubs. Henry helps coordinate new and existing clubs, supports the tutors and direction of each club, as well as assisting with the training and recruitment of alumni tutors. Henry also teaches on our Saturday Afternoon Gifted and Talented School.

Alex Cree
Lead Studio Technician

Alex Cree studied on the drawing year 2006/7 and graduated from Canterbury Christchurch (2002). He is a practicing artist and his work can be found on www.alexcree.co.uk.

Massimo Franco
Print Room Technician

Massimo works part time supporting tutors in the day-to-day running of the Print Room. Previously a Drawing Year student, Massimo is an artist, who has been selected for the BP Portrait Award three times, he has also had a solo exhibition in Glasgow and exhibited in a number of group shows in London. He has just completed an MA in Print Making.
